An Interdisciplinary Humanities Course

I'm very excited about offering this class. It is a combination of topics on various art forms, including the visual and performing arts, and how they relate to one another and the society from which that art has been born.

How the Course Works:

The class has weekly units designed by topic themes. Download the Syllabus and you can view the weekly topic themes.

For example there is a unit on The Creative Personality. There is a brief lecture to read that I wrote (a few pages, maybe 10-20 min of reading), with some short YouTube video examples and pictures. At the end of each unit there are approximately 10 questions on a Discussion Board. You choose 2 of them, write a paragraph on your opinion for each of those two questions, followed by a short response on 2 other people's comments. There is also a mid term and final which are multiple choice and four one page essays.

This class and should be very interesting from multiple perspectives.
